Instructions

  3. Separately combine flour, baking powder, salt, and strawberry gelatin powder. Gradually blend dry ingredients into wet mixture until smooth dough forms.
  4. Create 1-inch dough spheres, rolling each in granulated sugar for complete coverage. Arrange cookies 2 inches apart on prepared baking sheets.
  5. Bake 8-10 minutes until edges are set and cookies appear slightly puffy. Remove from oven and pause for 1 minute.
  6. Gently press chocolate kiss into center of each warm cookie while still soft. Allow cookies to cool completely on baking sheet to stabilize chocolate kiss placement.
